Jailbreak Only: Lima - Infini Dev Team's Browser Based Cydia Alternative, Demoed On Video

May 3, 2011
The first demo video of Lima - a browser based Cydia alternative, which is currently being developed by the Infini Dev Team - has recently hit the Web. Currently, Cydia - Jay Freeman's jailbreak application store - is undoubtedly the best place to download extensions, tweaks and apps for your jailbroken iOS device (especially since Cydia acquired Rock). While Icy might be in the process of making a comeback, the Infini Dev Team is also planning on releasing another Cydia alternative: Lima, a browser based jailbreak application store. As you can see in the demo video below, Lima - which will be entirely Web based - will allow jailbreak fans to download extensions, tweaks and apps for their iOS device via Safari. Currently, we have no idea when Lima might be ready to launch, or how many developers will support the service once it does. If you're interested, you can follow the development of Lima by heading over to the Infini Dev Team's website (or keep checking back with us). We've embedded the aforementioned demo video below. Take a look at it, and let us know your thoughts in the comments.
