Apple is releasing a beta version of its cloud-based service – iCloud – today.

Unfortunately, users won’t be able to take advantage of all of iCloud’s features. Instead, in this beta release users can enjoy “iTunes in the cloud” – a feature recently announced by Steve Jobs, on stage at the Moscone Center.

According to Apple’s CEO:

Also today we make something available to end users. It’s iTunes in the cloud. We’re putting it out in 4.3 today.

The entire set of iCloud features will be available this fall, with iOS 5.
