Send2Mac - Sending Webpages To A Browser Has Never Been Easier

June 17, 2011
If you're looking for a free service that lets you easily send webpages to a Macintosh computer, Send2Mac can help. After installing a few bookmarks and a Mac app, users can easily share webpages between iOS devices and Macs in seconds. The service involves assigning APIs for specific computers - these are individual and personal, allowing users to use Send2Mac with a variety of different Macs (as they are assigned different APIs, and therefore different bookmarks). Once installed, users simply navigate to a webpage they want open on their Mac, and touch the "Send2Mac" bookmarklet (which will appear in Safari's bookmarks, as you can see above). The webpage will then open on your Mac, as if by magic. As mentioned, the service is currently available to use for free - because "it might be really buggy," as its developer notes. Surprisingly, it doesn't seem to be. For more information (including setup instructions), head over to http://send2mac.com. And if you're already familiar with the service, let us know your thoughts in the comments. [via MacStories]
