The event, they claim, is scheduled for Tuesday October 4, or just about two weeks from now. If you believe All Things D as well as the Loop (they’ve both shown very reliable in the past), take the day off.
Unsurprisingly, Apple’s new CEO Tim Cook will be on stage for the announcement. Will Steve Jobs make an appearance? We don’t know, but we sure hope so. In the meantime, it will be exciting to see Cook in his new role.
October 4 sounds like a credible date. Hopefully, this means that the iPhone 5, or any other device they announce will be released sometimes in early October.
As, usual, we’ll keep you posted.
