This New Steve Jobs Action Figure Looks Incredibly Realistic

January 3, 2012
A new, unofficial 12-inch Steve Jobs action figure set to launch in February looks so realistic, it's almost a little weird. The doll, which depicts the former Apple CEO and co-founder incredibly accurately - even right down to the turtleneck, glasses and jeans - can be preordered online for $99.99, with its manufacturer looking to ship units in February. Features of the six-scale figurine include:
  • One realistic head sculpt & Two pairs of glasses
  • One highly articulated body & Three pairs of hands
  • One black turtleneck & One pair of blue jeans
  • One black leather belt & One chair (wood + metal)
  • One pair of black socks & sneaker
  • Two apples (One with a bite.)
  • One piece of “ONE MORE THING” hard backdrop
The late Steve Jobs, who succumbed to cancer last year, has been honoured by Apple in a "Remembering Steve" webpage and one-day event. However, the company has made it clear that it will not authorize third-party attempts to honour the former CEO, and is rejecting Steve Jobs tribute applications from the App Store. The 12-inch action figure, whose limbs can be manipulated in order to recreate a number of iconic Apple-event poses (such as the one depicted in the above image), is way for fans to keep the memory of Steve Jobs alive. Its manufacturer has noted that refunds will be given in February if the company is unable to meet demand - meaning all that's left is for you to check out the below images of the Steve Jobs figurine, and head over to its website to preorder one. Let us know if you do in the comments. Update Our very own Andy Faust has noted (in the comments below) that the aforementioned webpage isn't taking preorders. This is likely due to mass interest. However, with any luck the manufacturer will soon start taking preorders again - in short, keep checking the webpage and let us know if you manage to preorder the action figure!
