Luminous Puzzle Adventure Game Coming Soon To iOS
February 21, 2012
Lume, State of Play Games’ acclaimed Mac and PC point-and-click game, is coming soon to the iPhone and iPad. The game clearly has great potential on a touchscreen, and the director of the studio himself claims that the original version was designed with iOS devices in mind, so it’s a foregone conclusion that Lume will sooner or later make its way to the primarily touch-based iOS platform.
Created by the makers of Headspin: Storybook, Lume is notable for its gorgeous setting, which was built on an actual miniature model made up of paper and skillfully filmed with special attention to proper lighting. This same small world has been ported to iOS, and purportedly with a higher resolution than the original version at that. “We’ve also added plenty of additional detail for iOS, new sound effects and an improved interface for touch devices,” says Luke Whittaker, Director of State of Play Games. Check out the trailer for the new version below.
