Updated iWork-Inspired iPad Graphing App Introduces New Document Browser

March 1, 2012
OmniGraphSketcher, which is part of the Omni Group's special line of productivity apps available in the App Store, has just received another important update. OmniGraphSketcher for iPad lets you create graphs for presentation purposes with remarkable ease. It takes advantage of the iPad's significant real estate to enable you to plot lines and curves simply by drawing on the screen in freehand. It also allows importing data from other programs in order to achieve a more precise plotting. Options for labels and colors are also included. Version 1.6 of OmniGraphSketcher brings some minor adjustments, including a new app icon, updated toolbar and menu icons, better retention of label colors and an improved info popover, which now scrolls to maintain cursor visibility even when the hidden system keyboard appears. Furthermore, the update adds small bug fixes and improvements under the hood. The most noteworthy addition in the new version is the new document browser. With it you can see more graphs at once in a grid layout that uses smaller thumbnails. The new browser also introduces more convenient options in edit mode, including deleting or duplicating multiple graphs in one go. OmniGraphSketcher was released nearly two years ago, and it has since been modified with updates that introduces useful new features in addition to the obligatory bug fixes. This latest update is no exception. Update your OmniGraphSketcher now for free, or download the app in the App Store for $14.99.
