A Chance To Win An Animator Promo Code With A Retweet Or Comment
AppAdvice has teamed up with JBrown in order to offer you a chance to win one of five promo codes for Animator ($0.99) for iPad iPhone, and iPod touch. [caption id="attachment_299986" align="alignright" width="225" caption="Find it too difficult to draw on your iPhone or iPod touch? Use your iPad instead."][/caption] Even though its archaic, the flip book has remained popular for a very long time. Most of us likely recall creating plenty using the corners of notebook pages and Post It stacks. However, if you don't remember, a flip book is a set of images with gradually changing appearances assembled in a book-type form. When the pages are flipped through rapidly, the result is an illusion of motion. Without the need to waste paper, you can relive those moments of creating your own little silent animated film using Animator. Indeed, not the first flip book creation app for iOS, Animator's selling characteristic is simplicity. No fancy filters or controls, just some virtual paper, pencils, an eraser, and a paint bucket. [caption id="attachment_299987" align="alignleft" width="200" caption="Zoom in and pan around using sliders to make those finer details and corrections."][/caption] More specifically, the app includes seven quick access colors, one custom color pencil, adjustable pencil and eraser size. The customization is hidden by default, but easily shown by tapping on the Settings button. In addition, Animator allows up to 10 undos, slide deletions, clearing of slides, zooming, and the option to use photos as backgrounds. Having total control of the material is great, but progressing slide by slide can be very tedious. To move the process along more quickly, Animator has two very handy features. One is an optional duplication of the current slide and the other is residual presence the previous slide. The final video speed can be adjusted from 1 to 30 frames per second and, obviously, the exported video is iOS app-friendly. Animator is a universal app compatible with iPad, second generation iPad, third generation iPad, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, 32GB and 64GB third generation iPod touch, fourth generation iPod touch and newer running iOS 5.0 or later.
