A new jailbreak tweak called HomeSpringPage allows jailbreakers to create a new Home screen page, which is reserved specifically for Dashboard X widgets.
Since its initial release, Dashboard X - which allows users to add Notification Center-style widgets to a jailbroken iPhone's Home screen - has proved to be an incredibly popular tweak, with countless jailbreakers adding widgets (and downloading third-party widgets to add) to their Home screen. While positing widgets alongside iOS apps can be a little clumsy, the recently released HomeSpringPage can help.
As iDownloadBlog explains:
There are no options or settings to configure with HomeSpringPage. After installation, you’ll notice a new first page on your Springboard that’s completely devoid of any app icons. You can still add app icons to the first page if you choose to do so, but I see it as more of a dedicated space for your favorite widgets. If you're a Dashboard X user, this tweak might be worth considering. Currently, HomeSpringPage is available to download in the Cydia Store (via the BigBoss repository) for free, so check it out.
