Instagram, the popular photo-editing and sharing app, has received a new update. Not surprisingly, version 3.1 includes iOS 6 and iPhone 5 compatibility, and more.

With 80 million users, Instagram is so popular that Facebook decided to purchase it earlier this year for a reported $1 billion. Since then, the app has received a number of updates including a significant one in August.

The latest update includes:

  • iOS 6 and iPhone 5 compatible
  • Improved password recovery
  • Redesigned registration flow
  • Bug fixes and other improvements
