Never Miss A Movie's Bonus Scenes Again With TodoMovies
TodoMovies has just received another blockbuster update. TodoMovies, as its name suggests, is a to-do app for movies. It lets you search for movies, both past and upcoming releases, and add them to your to-watch list. And once you're done watching them, just move them to your watched list. TodoMovies has been a great movie management app since its launch last June. But it still keeps getting better with every update it receives. The app's latest update, which is only its second, is packed with bonus features. As a matter of fact, one of these is a new bonus scenes indicator, which is rather nifty:
Did you miss Tony Stark, Thor and The Hulk eating Shawarma in a bonus scene after the credits of "The Avengers"? Not anymore! Movies that have bonus scenes will be indicated in your watch list with a seat icon. If you see one, sit tight and don't immediately leave the theater after the movie is over! Find out in the movie details if the bonus scene is during or after the credits.[caption id="attachment_345821" align="aligncenter" width="270"] TodoMovies[/caption] I tested this new feature on a couple of other films that have bonus scenes ("Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief," "The Amazing Spider-Man"). And sure enough, TodoMovies does indicate that they do have bonus scenes. What's more, TodoMovies is smart enough to specify whether the bonus scenes are shown during or after the credits. TodoMovies now also indicates whether a movie is available in 3-D with a 3-D badge in the details view. In addition, the new version of TodoMovies brings full localization in eight languages (German, Dutch, French, Japanese, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and Russian) as well as searching for movies in their local names. Finally, the newly updated TodoMovies introduces caching. TodoMovies now caches the details, including the poster, of every movie you add. This way, you can mark a movie as watched and view its details even when you're offline. Designed for iPhone and now optimized for iPhone 5, TodoMovies is available in the App Store for $1.99.
