For First Time, Apple Is Offering Variable Denomination iTunes Gift Cards For The Holidays

November 30, 2012
Apple is offering variable denomination iTunes Gift Cards this holiday season both at their retail stores and at third-party locations. Consumers can purchase these in any denomination between $15 and $500, according to 9to5Mac. Prior to this year, users had to purchase iTunes Gift Cards in specific denominations, such as $15, $25, $50, and $100. This appears to be the first time Apple is offering variable denomination cards for iTunes, although it is a practice Cupertino has long used for hardware gift card purchases. These cards will come in handy, especially when using the new FaceTime Camera scan feature in iTunes 11. Source: 9to5Mac
