NoNewApp Jailbreak Tweak Removes The 'New' App Banner

November 11, 2012
Does the "new" app banner, which Apple added in iOS 6, get on your nerves? If so, download NoNewApp - a new jailbreak tweak that can completely banish the aforementioned banners from your jailbroken iDevice. The jailbreak tweak is about as simple as it can be. Simply install NoNewApp from the Cydia Store (via the ModMyi repository), and new applications won't feature the blue "new" banner. Conversely, if you'd like to disable the jailbreak tweak, all you need to do is uninstall NoNewApp from within the Cydia app. There are no further customization options, and as such, no new pane is added to the Settings app. For more information on NoNewApp, take a look at our video walkthrough below. You can download the jailbreak tweak yourself for free in the Cydia Store. As mentioned, it's currently available via the ModMyi repository. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qzxA6Zxtfa0
