Favorite This: Favs Finally Goes Universal With Native iPad Support

January 8, 2013
Dirk Holtwick's Favs app was originally released for Mac in March last year. Then, in June, it was released for iPhone. Now, it has been made natively available on iPad. After its debut in the App Store as an iPhone app, Favs was deservedly praised by my colleague Christine. But in her review, she also lamented the app's lack of native iPad support. Well, to Christine and Favs' other iPad-toting users, I'm glad to inform you that you won't have to lament no more since Favs for iPad is already here. Of course, Favs for iPad offers the same core functionality as its iPhone counterpart and the original Mac app. Basically, Favs consolidates all of your Internet "favorites," "likes," "stars," and suchlike into one place. With Favs, you don't have to check your "favs" on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and a number of other sites using different apps. All you have to do is log in to your social network accounts in Favs and see all of your "favs" in a single app. Favs supports the following social media sites: Delicious, Dribbble, Facebook, Flattr, Flickr, Github, Google Reader, Instagram, Instapaper, Pinboard, Pocket, Readability, StackOverflow, Twitter, Vimeo, YouTube, and Zootool. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.0 or later, the newly universalized Favs is available now as a free update or as a new $2.99 download. Oh, and by the way, Favs has also been updated with iPhone 5 support. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
