Cydia Tweak: Enhance The App Switcher’s Music Controls With PodSwitcher

PodSwitcher is a new Cydia tweak that brings the power of the Music app to the app switcher. This tweak provides a full-on music browsing experience without an app. Once installed, launch the app switcher and tap on the “PodSwitcher” button at the top. The tweak will load above the app switcher revealing a beautiful and functional music interface.

This tweak packs a lot of new features into your app switcher. Included in PodSwitcher’s features is the ability to rewind, fast forward, tweet the song playing, search through your music, and enable shuffle. There’s also a button to pull up song lyrics, but unfortunately, I was unable to get this feature working properly. Within the Settings app, you’ll find options to enable or disable the tweak along with custom cover art animations. You can also set the opacity of PodSwitcher’s background. Overall, I think this is a very functional tweak and it could almost replace the stock iOS music app. Currently, PodSwitcher is available in the BigBoss repository for $1.49 and it's compatible with Auxo and Zephyr.
