Dive Into Our Hands-On Preview Of Fruit Ninja Creator Halfbrick's Fish Out Of Water
A week ago, we told you that there's something fishy going on at Halfbrick, the Australian development studio behind Jetpack Joyride and Fruit Ninja. That "something fishy" is actually Halfbrick's upcoming title and potential hit, Fish Out of Water. Previously, little beyond the game's name was known about Fish Out of Water. But now, we know just how the game is going to look and feel like, thanks to a couple of videos that have surfaced today. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. One, the trailer of Fish Out of Water has been released by Halfbrick. It introduces the sights and sounds of the seas in the game as well as its school of fishy characters. Take a look at the trailer in the video embedded above. And two, we have our first hands-on preview of the game straight out of this year's Game Developers Conference, which is still in full swing in San Francisco. My colleague Robin is on the ground at the event, and she has had the pleasure of playing the game. You can watch her in the video below as she gets her hands wet with a preview build of Fish Out of Water. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. As you can see, Fish Out of Water is some sort of fish-skipping game enhanced with great graphics, interesting power-up systems, and other neat features. I for one can't wait for it to get out of whatever state it's currently in and for it to get into the App Store. Halfbrick says that Fish Out of Water is "coming soon" to the App Store and it's going to be available for only $0.99. While you and I wait for its wet and wild arrival, you and I can still, of course, enjoy the following existing iOS games from Halfbrick: Jetpack Joyride, Fruit Ninja, Fruit Ninja: Puss in Boots, Blast Off, Monster Dash, and Age of Zombies. Also, you and I can check out the colorful screenshots of Fish Out of Water below. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
