Apple has launched a replacement program for a small number of third-generation Apple TV sets, which are affected with a series of Wi-Fi issues. The problems involve not being able to connect to or maintain a connection with a Wi-Fi network, and can only be corrected through a product replacement. According to 9to5Mac, who first reported on the issue, replacements are to be offered free of charge for third-generation Apple TVs within two-years of their original purchase date, and Apple Stores, AppleCare and Apple Authorized Resellers have all been informed of the situation.
