In a new press release, the company behind the popular iTunes media player and online store its “incredible lineup of global superstars and stellar emerging artists” this year. Along with the aforementioned “Suit & Tie” singer, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Jack Johnson, and Jessie J are included in the lineup.
First held in 2007, the iTunes Festival is an annual Apple-sponsored music festival that features over 60 performing acts and runs every night in September at The Roundhouse in London.
Performances during the festival can be streamed live for free on Apple TVs or on iOS devices via the iTunes Festival London 2013 app.
Note that tickets to the festival are not available for sale. Rather, they are given to competition winners only in certain countries, including the U.S., Australia, Brazil, Canada, Europe, Japan, Mexico, and the U.K.
In the UK, tickets may be won through the iTunes Festival app, the iTunes Store, and selected media partners, including Channel 4, Global Radio, and Metro.
