Verizon's Cloud Storage Service Now Available On iOS Through New Standalone App

May 24, 2013
Announced late last month, Verizon's cloud storage and backup app has just been released on iOS. It's called Verizon Cloud. And as you would expect, it lets you store and back up your digital content through Verizon's dedicated cloud service. Verizon Cloud offers safekeeping of your photos, videos, music, documents, and contacts. So, if you're upgrading to a new device, replacing an old one, or just looking to have easy on-the-go access of your content, you can turn to Verizon Cloud. The service is also supported on Android and desktop, so it's readily available across various smartphones, tablets, and computers. Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 5.0 or later, Verizon Cloud is available now in the App Store for free. Verizon Cloud comes with 500MB of free storage as part of your Verizon Wireless plan. But you can avail of any of the following upgrade options to accommodate your storage needs with Verizon Cloud: $2.99 per month for 25GB, $5.99 per month for 75GB, and $9.99 per month for 125GB. Note that if you are an existing user of Verizon's Backup Assistant or Backup Assistant Plus, your content will be automatically carried over to your Verizon Cloud account.
