Cydia Tweak: Vox Offers iDevice Owners A New, Minimalistic Battery Indicator
by Joe White
June 18, 2013
One recent addition to the Cydia Store, Vox, offers users a new, minimalistic battery indicator for the iPhone and iPod touch.
After downloading and installing the free jailbreak tweak, users will find that the default battery indicator in iOS has been replaced by a ball (as pictured above). If your iPhone is fully charged, this will be entirely white; a half charge renders it half full; and, as you might have guessed, a low charge results in an empty ball, as per the image below.
Importantly, however, upon switching over to Notification Center, users will find that the white ball includes a numerical battery life indicator, thereby allowing jailbreakers to quickly check on a precise reading. You may need to click to enlarge the image below, though, in order to spot it!
Interested? If so, Vox can be downloaded in the Cydia Store (via the BigBoss repository) free of charge, and enabling the jailbreak tweak is as simple as installing the package.
