The App Store's Fifth Anniversary Blowout Is Not Yet Over

As it turns out, it's not enough that Potluck is giving away Over for free in celebration of the App Store's fifth anniversary this week. Just a few hours ago, Potluck released an update for Over that adds more cues to make the popular photo overlay app even easier to use. But more notably, the update was issued to make not one, not even two, but five paid font and artwork packs available for free. Normally priced at $0.99 each, the font and artwork packs that are now yours to unlock for free are:
  • BIRTHDAY PACK: 26 brand spankin' new ways to say happy birthday to your family & friends. (Designed by @KyleSteed)
  • THE FRESH EXCHANGE PACK: A beautiful something for the road. (Designed by @Megan Gilger)
  • GOON ELEMENTS: Inspired by the hand drawn style of Goon, this pack has a little bit of everything, from shapes to flourishes to icons. (Designed by @JeremyBooth)
  • AWESOMBROSA FONT: A new typeface reflective of the repetition of simple geometric shapes that form our daily environment. (Designed by Sam Lara AKA @awesombroso)
  • EXCITING WORDS: A collection of exciting words & phrases that help express the happiest moments in life. (Designed by @KyleSteed)

Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.0 or later, the new version of Over is available now in the App Store. As mentioned, the app is currently available for free, in honor of "5 Years of the App Store." Also a few hours ago, Day One, another app that is currently free in celebration of the App Store's fifth anniversary, received a notable update of its own. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
