Burpple 2.0 Brings New Design And New Features To Popular Social Food Guide App

Burpple has recently received its 2.0 update. And boy, is it delicious! First and foremost, Burpple 2.0 introduces a brand new design for the popular social food guide and journal app, which debuted on iOS in March last year:
It all started with a desire to take an experience people love and make it better. The all-new design is consistent, and responses faster than before. It’s just like Instagram for food, and a bit more.
Most notably, the new design gets rid of the skeuomorphic stitched leather of the app's previous versions in favor of a no-frills look and feel. And along with the app's new design come new features, including new place pages, social menus, and wishlists. [caption id="attachment_447410" align="aligncenter" width="320"] Burpple[/caption] Burpple's new, Foursquare-like place pages let you discover restaurants and cafes to try. And if you do decide to try them, it's easy to find your way since the pages include addresses and map directions in addition to opening hours and prices. From the place pages, you can also discover like-minded people thanks to the app's new community listings. Another new feature that can help you decide where to go and what to eat is Burpple's Social Menus. And if you wish to save all of the places you want to go in one place, then the app's new Wishlists section is just the thing for that. Burpple 2.0 is available now in the App Store for free. The app is optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 5.1 or later.
