December 4, 2013
The D3PA team has just assembled a super update for Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign.
Released a couple of months ago as a universal iOS game, Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign features Marvel heroes and villains battling it out in Puzzle Quest's trademark competitive Bejeweled-style play field.
The latest update to Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign brings about some UI improvements and gameplay enhancements.
On the UI side of things, the update adds Retina display support for third-generation iPad, fourth-generation iPad, iPad Air, and iPad mini with Retina display. It also includes the following changes:
As for the update's gameplay tweaks, it now causes a Team Up character to default to the highest-level version of that character and it improves the tile selection for tile-targeted abilities. In addition, it adds a third power to Black Widow (Original) and alters the Spider-Sense ability of Spider-Man (Classic). The new version of Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign is available now in the App Store for free. The game is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.1 or later.
