The popular — or "viral," as it were — strategy game Plague Inc. is constantly evolving. And now, it has evolved from mobile to PC in the form of the upcoming Plague Inc. Evolved.
Scheduled for release on Steam on Feb. 20, Plague Inc. Evolved for PC offers the acclaimed gameplay of the original game plus major enhancements for the desktop platform:
Now, if you're a fan of Plague Inc. on iOS, don't worry. This doesn't mean that Plague Inc. is going to stagnate on mobile just because it's already going to be available on PC. On the contrary, James Vaughan, the man behind Plague Inc. developer Ndemic Creations, assures players that identical updates will be applied to both mobile and PC games as much as possible. What's more, according to Vaughan, the next mutation for Plague Inc. is coming soon. As mentioned, Plague Inc. Evolved for PC is set to be launched on Steam on Feb. 20. Plague Inc. for iPhone and iPad is available in the App Store for $0.99.
