Sochi 2014 Guide Goes Universal For iPad Ahead Of Olympic Games In February

January 7, 2014
Exactly a month before the big event, the Sochi 2014 Guide app has been updated with universal support. As its name suggests, the Sochi 2014 Guide is the official guide app to the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics, which runs from Feb. 7 to Feb. 23 in Sochi, Russia. As its App Store description notes:
Mobile Guide to the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi will make your Games unforgettable and full of bright impressions. You'll be able to stay up to date, to know the accurate schedule of competitions and other events, to follow the Olympic and Paralympic Torch Relay, to purchase tickets, to plan a trip, to navigate in Sochi and at sports venues with the interactive map, to share experiences with friends and much more. Sochi 2014 Guide is your encyclopedia of the Games!
Sochi 2014 Guide was released late last November for iPhone and iPod touch. Now, a new update has added universal support to the app. As a result, the app is now natively compatible with iPad and iPad mini. What's more, the new universal version of the app features a layout that's optimized for the larger iOS devices. Sochi 2014 Guide is available in the App Store for free. It's compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.1 or later.
