Mobile Website App M.dot Goes 2.0, Gets Rebranded As GoDaddy GoMobile
March 9, 2014
M.dot has just been updated to version 2.0. At the same time, it has been rebranded as GoDaddy GoMobile.
Released in October 2012, M.dot was acquired by GoDaddy in February 2013. And now, over a year later, the app has been renamed to officially carry the GoDaddy brand.
Not to be confused with GoDaddy Mobile, GoDaddy's official iOS app, GoDaddy GoMobile offers quick and easy creation and management of mobile-optimized websites. It now also lets you do the following custom domain actions:
GoDaddy GoMobile also includes new welcome and sign-up screens for GoDaddy accounts as well as contextual help features. Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 7.0 or later, and featuring an improved design for iOS 7, GoDaddy GoMobile (aka M.dot 2.0) is available now in the App Store for free. Note that in GoDaddy GoMobile, publishing a website now requires you to subscribe. But if you're updating to GoDaddy GoMobile from M.dot, you can continue using the app for free until further notice from GoDaddy. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
