See What iOS Looks Like Running On A 4.7-inch 'iPhone 6'

May 19, 2014
Our friend Dom Esposito is out with a new video that shows what iOS could look like running on a 4.7-inch iPhone. The video is actually a simulation that shows iOS 7.1 running on a 4.7-inch "iPhone 6" mockup. Take a look: http://youtu.be/w-wXz-9qAcU As Esposito explains on 9to5Mac:
The simulation is running on the Moto X’s display next to an iPhone 5s for size comparison. If Apple decides to use 960 x 1704 as a resolution and upscale that majority of iOS, this is probably close to what we’ll see. Regardless of how scientifically accurate this “iPhone 6 simulator” is, it provides a closer look at exactly how iOS could be represented when enlarged on a 4.7-inch display.
Apple’s next iPhone is likely to launch in September. The iPhone 6 has long been rumored to be arriving in two new sizes: 4.7-inches and 5.5-inches. Both handsets should be thinner, lighter, sapphire-coated, and powered by the next-generation “Apple A8” processor. Cupertino is likely to unveil iOS 8 at next month's Worldwide Developers Conference, which begins on Monday, June 2.
