By far the coolest feature is the quick and easy-to-use stop-motion animation functionality.
A Beautiful Mess blog post explains a little more about how the app works:
You pick how many photos you want to take (1, 4, 9, or 16), and the app will take the photos automatically, spacing them 1 second apart by default. But you can go into settings to give yourself more time if you need. Or you can switch it to manual mode and take the pictures at whatever pace you like! We definitely recommend you turn your sound on, so you can hear the countdown. Our niece Penny recorded a countdown, and it’s AMAZING!
Once all the photos are taken, users can adjust the speed of the animation to make a perfect video. The results can be saved as a looping video, which works great for Instagram, or a .gif file for the Web.
Instagram fans will also enjoy the photo square collage function. Images can even be setup in a classic photo booth strip style for printing.
There are also 17 new filters and nine frames inspired by vintage photo booths.
Designed for the iPhone/iPod touch, Party Party can be downloaded now on the App Store for $0.99.
If you’d like to take a look at A Beautiful Mess, it’s a universal app for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, and costs $0.99 to download as well.
