Repix creator introduces sophisticated yet simple camera app Camu

August 22, 2014

Sumoing, the developer of the acclaimed photo-editing app Repix, has just released Camu, a new photo- and video-editing app enhanced with messaging capabilities.

Camu is a sophisticated yet simple photo and video app that boasts a handful of neat features. There’s the ability to swipe to apply filters before or after shooting. There’s also the split photo options that allow for real-time collages.

The app also features an auto mode that lets you take great selfies as it automatically takes a photo when no movement is detected. Moreover, it includes a “super-focus” option and press-and-hold support for shooting videos.

But according to Sumoing, what makes Camu better than most other photo and video apps is its built-in messaging function, which “makes it the only pro-level camera app available that enables users to share media and chat privately with each other.”

Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 7.0 or later, Camu is available now on the App Store for free.
