Apple announces that Apple Pay will launch on Monday

At today’s special media event, Apple has announced that its Apple Pay mobile payment system will go live next Monday, Oct. 20 in the United States.
The mobile payment system will currently work with the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
Apple CEO Tim Cook says since the original announcement in September, 500 more banks have signed on to support the system.
