Are you worried that the next episode of “The Walking Dead” could push you over your monthly data limit? Has your obsession with playing Trivia Crack taken you over the edge?

The new stopwatch widget on the DataMan Next app is here to help. With the widget, you can view your real time data usage, as you watch a YouTube video, listen to Spotify, play an online game, or do anything else on your iPhone.

Using the stopwatch widget works as follows:

  • Pull down the Notification Center and tap the green button to start tracking.
  • Dismiss Notification Center and start your activity.
  • When you’re done, open Notification Center and tap the red button to stop tracking. You’ll see the exact data used for the activity.
  • If you want more details, tap the white text to see sent and received amounts.

Using DataMan Next, even the less tech-savvy iPhone owner is able to keep track of data usage and decide on necessary adjustments. Instead of presenting a table of details, something the average iOS device owner doesn’t care about or sometimes understand, Next displays only the important information in a simple weather app-style report. The recently added stopwatch widget makes this popular app even better.

DataMan Next is a fremium app available for download on the App Store.
