Using Fotopedia Reporter, You Can Easily Tell Great Stories With Great Photos

Fotopedia, the collaborative photo encyclopedia founded by a group of former Apple employees, has just debuted Fotopedia Reporter for iPad. A fully functional companion app to Fotopedia Reporter on the Web, Fotopedia Reporter for iPad lets you make beautiful photo stories or slide shows about anything and everything under the sun:

Fotopedia Reporter is here! Our newest app unleashes your creativity, letting you create your own photo stories to share the things you love with whoever you want. Whether it's a tour of your town, some hard-hitting reportage, a restaurant review or a story about snails mating at the bottom of your garden, the only limit is your imagination. If you care about something, let it show!

To start creating a photo story with Fotopedia Reporter, just log in or sign up for an account, tap Me, select Drafts, and tap the plus button. Then, think about an interesting topic you want to report on or tell a story about, choose a cover photo, and specify a title and description for your story. You can pull text text from relevant Wikipedia articles for your story. But it's better to tell your story in your own words, don't you think? You can also add the story's location on a map. If you want to collaborate on a story with your friends, you can do just that by selecting Share Draft. But if you're already satisfied with your creation, hit Publish Story to post it on Fotopedia Reporter. You can also tap Send Story's URL to send a link to your story via Facebook, Twitter, or email. But as stated in its App Store description, Fotopedia Reporter isn't "just a magazine, it's a social platform." You can explore other users' stories right within the app's Newsfeed and even keep your favorites in the app's Personal Magazines section.
