The Clips App is a new media app that Apple plans on releasing next month. It allows you to combine video clips, photos, and music into videos to share with friends through the Message app, or on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo, and other popular social networks.

Apple calls Clips’ Live Titles feature a “breakthrough.” It allows you to create animated captions and titles using just your voice. Effects including comic book filters, speech bubbles, shapes, and full-screen animated posters will also be available.

According to Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Apps Product Marketing:

Clips gives iPhone and iPad users a new way to express themselves through video, and it’s incredibly easy to use. The effects, filters and amazing new Live Titles we’ve designed for Clips let anyone make great-looking, easily shareable videos with just a few taps.

The universal Clips App will be a free download when it arrives on the App Store in April. Apple has published a special Clips page on the company’s website for more information.

It’s been a busy Tuesday for Apple. Earlier today, March 21, the company unveiled a new 9.7-inch iPad, (PRODUCT) RED iPhone 7, and spring Apple Watch bands.
