Apple has just released a Mac version of the popular Swift Playgrounds app.
No Coding Knowledge Needed
The app is designed to teach beginners more about the Swift programming language. No programming knowledge is needed.
There are a number of built-in lessons that guide users through core concepts by solving unique puzzles.
Thanks to iCloud sync support, you can start a playground on the Mac version and then pick up on the iPad app and vice versa.
Swift Playgrounds offers a number of Mac-specific features like the ability to drag-and-drop parts of commonly used code directly into a program.
You can download the Mac app now for free on the Mac App Store.
An iPad version of Swift Playgrounds is also free and can be downloaded now on the App Store.
