A new video posted on YouTube by Canoopsy compares the differences between the very first Apple laptop to company’s latest 2016 MacBook Pro.

In the video, Canoopsy compares some of the remarkable changes that have happened to Apple’s portable computer since its debut on September 20, 1989. For instance, in 1989, Apple’s first laptop weighed a whopping 16 pounds and came in a price point of $7,300. Compare that to today’s 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar which weighs just 3 pounds and starts at $1800.

Other obvious changes include changes to ports, displays, and of course the overall industrial design, which has gone from being built out of mostly plastic to mostly aluminum. It’s a fascinating video to watch and shows how far we’ve come in just a few decades.

It’ll be interesting to see what a video 25 years from now looks like when we compare the laptops today to the computers of the future. We’ve certainly come a long way since the first Apple laptop.
