Squarespace Announces That Apple News Integration is Now Available to All Blogs

Here’s the complete list of content Squarespace users can publish directly to Apple News.

• Images and Galleries
• Videos
• Audio
• Text
• Markdown
• Twitter and Instagram embedded content.
• A link back to your Squarespace site.

Just to note, you will have to do a little work to get any content on Apple News, including signing up for News Publisher and receiving the API credentials from Apple as well.

And Apple News itself is getting a new and redesigned look in iOS 10, which was officially announced earlier this week at the WWDC 2016 keynote.

Along with a redesign offering bigger and bolder type throughout, the For You section will show topics, trends, feature stories, and more. Readers can also receive customized breaking news notifications about important stories in favorite channels.

Publishers will also be able to offer subscriptions directly from the app.

Currently in beta testing, iOS 10 will officially arrive sometime in the fall.
