Check Out Pages On An iPhone 4!

August 7, 2010

Not so long ago, we mentioned the possible port of Apple's mobile iWork suite (currently available for iPad) to the much-loved iPhone 4 - following an interesting screenshot that seemed to point towards Keynote for iPhone. Well, although nothing official has been announced by Apple yet, the guys over at 9to5Mac have managed to get the iPad version of Pages running on an iPhone 4 handset, to get a feel for how Apple's finished product might work. And, as you can see from the video (below), the iPhone 4 handles Pages pretty well. Obvious translation issues mean the app doesn't work perfectly - but for an unofficial version, it looks good. So, be sure to check out the video, which is embedded below! And, let us know whether you're planning on grabbing the iWork suite for your iPhone in the comments box at the end of this article. Personally, with iWork already on my iPad, I think I'll be giving it a miss. However, the suite will aid iPhone users in accessing (and editing) documents on the go - and, as you can see, the handset itself seems to handle the iPad version well enough.
