Tap Tap Revenge 4 Sees A Huge Number Of Christmas Downloads
December 27, 2010
It looks like Facebook isn't the only app developer seeing strong holiday downloads. Disney’s Tapulous studio, developers of the Tap Tap Revenge 4 game for the iPhone/iPod touch are also seeing a rise in downloads.
According to The Business Insider, Christmas downloads for the music game reached 45,000 per hour. The game has been the top free app in the App Store for several days now in 37 countries. This gives you an idea of how popular the game has become.
The goal of the game is to tap on colored balls when they reach a line at the bottom of the screen while listening to music. If you hit the ball on a music beat, you score points. If you don't, points are subtracted from your score.
Disney purchased Tapulous earlier this year.
The free Tap Tap Revenge 4 is available in the App Store.
