Lima Sky Offers Up Doodle Jump Multiplayer Stats

Lima Sky Offers Up Doodle Jump Multiplayer Stats

April 16, 2011
Today's update to Doodle Jump, Lima Sky's pop culture hit iOS game, isn't one that will blow your socks off, however, it does contain the highly requested ability to view multiplayer statistics and some tweaks to the spring placement to make matches a bit more equal. The online multiplayer feature, which was only added recently, offers up the chance to go head-to-head with Doodle Jumpers using Apple's Game Center social gaming network. These multiplayer games aren't necessarily about pushing your way to unbelievable heights -- like you would in the single player mode -- but mostly about not being the player to make a critical mistake. In short, the statistics only keep track of those all important Ws and Ls and not the same detailed stats available in the standard mode. To view the new set of statistics, go to the Scores section on the game's main menu, tap on Stats in the Local list, then scroll all the way down to the very bottom. Stats include the number of games played, the number of games you've won, the number of games you've failed to win, and any tie games that may have occurred. Doodle Jump is designed for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 3.0 or later, and available in the App Store for $.99. Game Center features require an iPhone 3GS and second generation iPod touch and newer running iOS 4.1 or later.
