The Heist Is A Success - Overtakes Angry Birds, One Copy Sold Every Second

MacHeist's recently released puzzle app for the iPhone and iPod touch has taken the App Store by storm. In fact, The Heist ($0.99) has proved to be so successful, it's overtaken Angry Birds and on one day, a copy of the application was being sold every second.
According to The Loop, MacHeist's app was downloaded around 25,000 times on day one. However, on day two, the application was downloaded a massive 89,798 times. As MacStories points out, that's more than one copy of The Heist being downloaded each and every second throughout the day.
As a result of this, the application overtook Angry Birds to be the top paid app in Apple's App Store. But, how long will it stay there?
