Released last March by none other than Crysis developer Crytek, Fibble is a physics puzzler with a backstory that is tightly integrated into its gameplay.
The game’s many levels actually form a narrative about the title character’s search for his fellow stranded extraterrestrials. Following an accident triggered by a stray soda can in outer space, Fibble and his crew crash-land in a suburban home on earth. It’s up to Fibble to collect his friends Byte, Vroom, Docto, and Ragno across four different environments: Kitchen, Bathroom, Kid’s room, and Basement.

But wait! As the update’s cinematic trailer above reveals, another friend of Fibble’s has gone missing. And his name is Klonk.
Like the other crew members, the burly and chest-beating Klonk uses his special skills to help Fibble flick and roll his way through puzzles. Klonk also gets his own game environment: the Garden.
Along with the new Garden locale, the Lost Files Part 1 level pack is now also available to unlock.
With more levels included in the game, it’s important to have your progress saved across your devices. Fortunately, iCloud integration has been added by the update as well.
The following enhancements are also part of the update:
- Fibble skins – a new way to look cool
- Vastly improved loading times
- Reworked “nudge” feature
- Expanded social functionality and features
- Numerous improvements, crash fixes
Fibble for iPhone and its universal HD version are currently on sale in the App Store for only $0.99 each. The former used to go for $1.99, while the latter used to be priced at $4.99. Get or update either version now to start embarking on Fibble’s multileveled journey home with Klonk and his other alien friends.
