Paper Monsters Offers Lots Of Spooky Fun With New Halloween-Themed Levels
With just a month to go before Halloween, it's no surprise that some games have already begun coming out with their Halloween-themed content updates. Just yesterday, Where's My Water? Free got a new set of freaky and Frankenducky levels. This time, it's Paper Monsters' turn to go all out for Halloween. Paper Monsters is a popular 2.5-D platformer for iPhone and iPad. It borrows quite a lot of gameplay elements from the iconic Mario games, but it does manage to be distinctly charming. For the most part, it owes its charm to its colorful graphics that are high-definition and low-poly at the same time. And of course, it's just a lot of fun to play. And there's a lot more fun to be had now especially if you're particularly hooked on Halloween. Thanks to its latest update, Paper Monsters has gained new Halloween-themed chapter containing six new levels. [caption id="attachment_342400" align="aligncenter" width="480"] Paper Monsters[/caption] The new chapter challenges you to guide the game's cardboard hero in defeating the eponymous monsters in a world filled with dread and jack-o-lanterns. Also, there's a new Halloween outfit set you can get for said hero in the game's dressing room. The newly updated Paper Monsters is available now in the App Store for $2.99. Apart from being all set for Halloween, Paper Monsters is now also optimized for iOS 6 and the iPhone 5. It also offers a major frame rate boost and new Game Center achievements.
