How To Get iOS 6 3-D Maps On Your A4-Powered iDevice
Apple's iOS 6 Maps application got off to a rocky start, though the good news is that the application seems to be slowly improving. If you want to port Apple's 3-D Maps application over to a jailbroken iPhone 4 or iPod touch (4G), read on. Because thanks to one jailbreak tweak, this is indeed possible. The jailbreak tweak, "Unlock iOS 6 Maps," is developed by Ryan Petrich (@rpetrich) and can be downloaded for free in the Cydia Store. Once installed, 3-D maps and turn-by-turn navigation will be available on your A4-powered iDevice, though it should be noted that installing this jailbreak tweak can make the iDevice in question run a little slower. Below, we've embedded a YouTube video that explains the entire process, so be sure to watch it carefully. And if you decide to install Unlock iOS 6 Maps on your A4-powered iDevice, good luck! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HYrimPpixwQ
