Already a robust productivity app (as evidenced by the number of times it has been featured by Apple), GoDocs has once again been updated with even more improvements.

GoDocs is actually also known by its full designation, GoDocs for Google Docs, Google Drive. Obviously, the app is an app dedicated to both of those services.

First and foremost, though, GoDocs is a Google Docs client. And that’s exactly why the app’s latest update, like the majority of previous updates, is focused on improving GoDocs’ Google Docs integration.

The latest update to GoDocs introduces a couple of new viewers, namely, a spreadsheets viewer and an image viewer.

The former enables you to view formulas, charts, drawings, and images in spreadsheets with ease. The latter, on the other hand, lets you view large images and screenshots with full-screen support.

The update also includes the ability to restore revisions up to 10 steps back. Less worrying about committing mistakes!

In addition, the update offers document previews. This effectively does away with the need to download large files just so you can be reminded of what they’re about.

The latest version of GoDocs also boasts the following enhancements:

  • Public sharing with link.
  • Add folders from Organize view.
  • Improved fullscreen and zooming.
  • New option for documents scaling.
  • .m4v Video support.
  • iPhone 5 support.
  • iOS 6 support.
  • UI and UX improvements.
  • Major and minor bug fixes.

The new version of GoDocs for Google Docs, Google Drive is available in the App Store as a free update or as a $4.99 universal download.
