Real Racing 3 To Launch At The End Of February
December 20, 2012
In September, Apple demoed Firemonkey's Real Racing 3 at the iPhone 5 event. Three months later and the game has yet to show up in the App Store. The good news is we now know when to expect the game. The bad news is that it won't be before the end of the year.
According to a spokesperson, the game will debut at the end of February for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad.
In an email to AppAdvice they state:
Our goal for Real Racing 3 is to create an experience that resets the bar for racing games on mobile, and we wanted to take some extra time to get it right. We look forward to releasing Real Racing 3 and all its new features such as Time Shifted Multiplayer, plus dozens of new cars and tracks, by the end of February. There you have it -- no Real Racing 3 in 2012. To hold you over, we once again give you a look at the Real Racing 3 teaser trailer: Originally announced in August, Real Racing 3 is the latest installment in the popular racing game franchise first created by Firemint. Earlier this year, Electronic Arts merged Firemint with IronMonkey, which became Firemonkeys. Real Racing, Real Racing HD, Real Racing 2, and Real Racing 2 HD are available now. Each game is now just $0.99.
