Orbitz Flights, Hotels, Cars Now Made Universal With Support For iPad

At long last, Orbitz Flights, Hotels, Cars is now optimized for iPad as well as iPhone and iPod touch.
The flagship mobile app of the eponymous travel company was released way back in November 2010 as an app optimized for iPhone and iPod touch only.
In July 2011, Hotels by Orbitz was released as an iPad-only app. But in October 2012, it was made universal with support for iPhone and iPod touch.
Now, it's the older Orbitz app's turn to become universal. And it's about time.
Both an Editors' Choice selection and a Hall of Fame inductee in the App Store, Orbitz Flights, Hotels, Cars aims to be the only travel booking app you'll ever need.

As its name suggests, the app allows you to easily search and book flights, hotel rooms, and rental cars all within the app.
The app also lets you access your current trips, check flight status, find hotels near your current location, and get exclusive mobile-only deals.
Indeed, all of the features in the original app for iPhone and iPod touch are carried over to the app's new iPad version.
What's more, the now universal app offers several features that are exclusive to iPad. These include a dual list or map view of hotels and the ability to compare details of multiple flights, hotel rooms, and rental cars within a single screen.
Now compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, Orbitz Flights, Hotels, Cars is available in the App Store for free.
