Booyakasha! Nickelodeon Unleashes Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Rooftop Run

In September last year, Nickelodeon premiered its animated reboot of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles." Seven months later, that is to say, now, it has released the official iOS tie-in game for the series. The game is called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Rooftop Run. And I know what you're probably thinking: "Not another endless runner?!" But guess what. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Rooftop Run is, in fact, not just another endless runner. It may have the word "run" in its title, but the game actually involves a great deal of fighting as well. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Rooftop Run is a combat runner where you play as Leo, Donnie, Raph, and Mikey (whose catchphrase is now "Booyakasha" instead of "Cowabunga") as they run and fight across the rooftops of New York. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. The game, whose action-packed trailer is shown above, boasts the following key features:
  • Battle hordes of enemies including the Foot Clan, Kraang, and Dimension X
  • Activate Turtle Time to fight up close in a slow-motion combat sequence
  • Outfit the Turtles in exclusive Cyber and Stealth gear
  • Upgrade with weapons, gadgets, and boosts like the Laserbot and Turtle Saver
  • Unlock and play as the Turtles’ formidable canine foe Dogpound
  • Earn rewards from the pizza time mini-game
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Rooftop Run is available now in the App Store for $1.99. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
