TuneIn Radio Update Brings New Live Feature To The iPhone

One of my all-time favorite apps, TuneIn Radio, has just received a substantial update that brings a slate of new features.
First up, iPhone users of version 3.6 can take advantage of TuneIn Live. The new feature shows album artwork and titles for each song that plays. Signing up for a free TuneIn account further personalizes the experience.
And to help never miss a live event, a specific show can now be added to a user’s personal calendar. A notification can also be set to alert someone before an event begins.
Along with the ability to share songs and stations with your Google+ circles, BMW and MINI drivers of specific models can also access the app directly from their dashboards.
Finally, the iPad version of the app now provides a smoother swiping experience while the iPhone version sports a revamped interface.
TuneIn Radio is a universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini. It can be downloaded in the App Store now for free.
The pro version, which adds the ability to record audio streams in an ad-free environment, can be downloaded for $4.99. Pro users can also set timed recordings for their favorite programs.
