Last May, a year after its release in the App Store, Facebook Pages Manager was updated to version 2.0 with posting and messaging enhancements as well as speed improvements. Now, the app, which is designed to help admins manage Facebook Pages on the go, has been updated to version 2.1 with a number of new functions.
One of these new functions lets you upload multiple photos for a single post. This is now possible thanks to the integration of the same photo and album picker that has been in use in the official Facebook app for iOS.
Facebook Pages Manager has also been updated with the ability to edit the cover photo of a page and the ability to add new admins for the Pages you manage. And on the app’s iPhone and iPod touch edition, you can now also create an event hosted by your Page.
Furthermore, if you want to create a new Page, you can now do that as well right within the app using the new Create Page option in the sidebar.
Also including bug fixes, performance tweaks, and an improved Insights section, Facebook Pages Manager 2.1 is available now in the App Store for free. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later.
Facebook Pages Manager is one of the standalone apps for iOS being maintained by Facebook. In addition to Facebook Pages Manager, the social networking giant offers Facebook Messenger, Facebook Camera, Facebook Poke, and, of course, its main iOS client simply called Facebook.
