Infinity Blade III Looks 'Crazy Awesome' On iPhone 5s Thanks To Its New Update
Today marks the official launch of the iPhone 5s, Apple's new flagship handset. As it turns out, today also sees the release of the iPhone 5s performance-enhancing update for Infinity Blade III. Released exclusively on iOS last Wednesday ahead of the launch of iOS 7, Infinity Blade III is the concluding installment of the acclaimed Infinity Blade series developed by Chair Entertainment. It was announced and demoed by Chair's Donald Mustard and Jeremy Mustard at Apple's special media event for the iPhone 5s and the iPhone 5c last week. The event proved to be a fitting venue for the unveiling of Infinity Blade III, as the game was touted to come with optimizations for the iPhone 5s. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. And now, those iPhone 5s optimizations have been added to Infinity Blade III through its latest update. The newly updated Infinity Blade III is optimized for the iPhone 5s and the device's 64-bit Apple A7 processor. As a result, Infinity Blade III on iPhone 5s "looks crazy awesome" as it "features full screen anti-aliasing, bloom, full screen vignettes, distortion, high resolution shadows, and environmental reflections." The new version of Infinity Blade III is available now in the App Store as a free update or as a new $6.99 download. The game is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 7.0 or later. Stay tuned to AppAdvice for an in-depth look at Infinity Blade III on iPhone 5s by my colleague Daniel. In the meantime, you can check out AppAdvice's hands-on video of Infinity Blade III on a fourth-generation iPad. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
